We do not recommend glareshields because they darken the display and do not eliminate glare. If you have glare problems try to reconfigure your office and position the monitor in a location that does not reflect light sources. The best configuration is to position the display at a right angle to the window if there is just one window. If you cannot avoid certain sources of glare, glare shields can be of benefit. Sitting with a window or light source directly behind you will cause unavoidable glare. Positioning the display with a window straight ahead will cause eye strain from looking directly into the bright outside light regardless of the use of glare devices.
